Security Issues
Easy to use does not mean insecure. Tradewind® arms your store operations with a hierarchy of security levels.
- Security can be established for register groups (i.e. cash/wrap vs. return desk), employee groups (i.e. clerks vs. managers) and individual employees.
- Within each grouping, security may be managed by either menu level (wider scope) or individual function key (specific).
- You control "who does what". By group and by activity, there is a list of assignable security levels. Everything from unrestricted access to password required to no access.
Tremendously flexible, Tradewind® security can be as simple or complex as you like. You, not the software, set the limitations.
Accurate and Auditable
To your corporate staff, security is more than just limitations to access. The retail environment is full of potential risk. Tradewind® protects your business by enforcing business rules, maintaining accuracy, and fully recording all interactions.
- Every action performed during a transaction, even if it does not appear on the final receipt, is recorded and is uploaded to the host system for analysis.
- Till Management is fully configurable, optionally allowing floating cashier, shift balancing and blind store closing. There is even a till calculator to help eliminate errors during drawer counts.
- Associates can be required to clock in/out on the registers and payrol hours, sick, vaction and personal time can be quickly recorded.
