Surf Apparel Leader Volcom Installs JDS Solutions WinRetailT Enterprise Management System

Carlsbad, CA -The JDS Solutions Corporation today announced that Volcom, Inc. the leader in surf apparel, has begun installation of the full JDS suite of information management products, inclusive of WinRetail™, Tradewind® Point of Sale and the JDS communication product set.  Volcom selected JDS for its information management needs in late July and is on an accelerated installation timetable.  more

The JDS Professional Services team is managing the aggressive install schedule.  All three locations are expected to be fully “live” by September 1, 2006.  Volcom anticipates major growth in the coming years, projected to reach 100+ locations.  The management of Volcom looked to JDS to provide the informational tools needed to effectively manage that growth.
