Contract awarded to the JDS Solutions Corporation to install new Enterprise Management and Point of Sale System.
CARLSBAD, California - July 12, 2004
The JDS Solutions Corporation today announced that it had been awarded the contract to install its WinRetail™ Enterprise Management System at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
After and extensive screening process , the selection committee at the Gallery selected JDS's WinRetail™ to manage both the back office and front end Point of Sale operations throughout its organization. The Gallery also selected The JDS WinRetail™ Communications Manager to control all communications amongst its stores and additionally contracted for The JDS Solutions Corporation’s nationally acclaimed 24/7/365 Customer Support Service. The JDS Professional Services Group will be managing the project, which is set to begin immediately. The Gallery will be installing NCR Dynakey™ Cash Registers supplied by Data Business Systems, Inc. of Virginia.
