Turner Broadcasting Systems to install WinRetail™ in its Expanding Turner Retail Operation.

CARLSBAD, California - May 21, 2004

The JDS Solutions Corporation today announced the licensing of its WinRetail™/Tradewind® Enterprise Management and Point of Sale System to Atlanta, GA based Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc.

After and extensive proof of concept pilot , the selection committee at Turner selected JDS's WinRetail™ to manage both the back office and front end Point of Sale operations throughout its organization. TBS also selected The JDS WinRetail™ Communications Manager to control all communications amongst its stores and additionally contracted for The JDS Solutions Corporation’s nationally acclaimed 24/7/365 Customer Support Service. A third quarter 2004 installation is planned.
