December 2001: Major LA Area Museum to Install WinRetail Inventory Management System.
After an extensive search, the premier museum in the Los Angeles, CA area selected The JDS Solutions Corporation and its WinRetail™/Tradewind® solution to manage the inventory control and point of sale needs of its museum store. The museum’s Board of Director’s gave their final approval and data conversion is well underway. An early 2002 installation is planned.
December 2001: Callaway Golf Company Store Selects WinRetail™ Software.
The Callaway Golf Company Store is located in Callaway's corporate Headquarters in Carlsbad, Ca. Installation for Callaway Golf is scheduled for late March, 2002.
December 2001: Agent Kick-off Meeting a huge success!
The WinRetail™ and Tradewind® Sales Agent & Training Meeting scheduled for December 6, 2001, in Carlsbad, CA was a huge success. The informative session introduced WinRetail™ and Tradewind® to our team across the country.
December 2001: WinRetail™ Enterprise awarded finalist for Sybase Application of The Year.
This year hundreds of applications were submitted to Sybase's annual event. The competition was narrowed to down to just 3 applications in our division before WinRetail™ Enterprise was selected. JDS Solutions and our WinRetail™ application will be officially presented the award in Feb 2002.
November 2001: Museum Store Association.
JDS Solutions accepted as member of the Museum Store Association.
November 2001: Voyager Apparel Selects WinRetail™ Software.
Voyager Apparel, a soon to be opened specialty clothing store in San Francisco, CA announced the selection of the JDS WinRetail™ and Tradewind® products to help manage its new 45,000+ square foot Fisherman’s Wharf location. Back office equipment and WinRetail™ Enterprise software are in the final stages of the install process, to accommodate the influx of new merchandise. The multi-register mega store is scheduled to open in early spring, 2002.
August 2001: Bluehills Nursery Selects WinRetail™ Software.
Bluehills Nursery, a Los Angeles, CA Nursery and Gift Shop installed WinRetail™ Enterprise and Tradewind in September 2001.
August 2001: Peppercorn Stores Selects WinRetail™ Software.
Peppercorn, a Boulder CO specialty store installed WinRetail™ Enterprise and Tradewind in late July, 2001.
July 2001: SunDiego Stores Selects WinRetail™ Software.
Sundiego Stores, a San Diego, CA based multi-store specialty retailer installed WinRetail™ and Tradewind in early July, 2001. Sundiego is a specialty surfing-related clothing and sports store. They currently have 7 locations throughout the Southern California area.
July 2001: The California Academy Of Science Selects WinRetail™ Software.
The California Academy Of Science, a San Francisco, CA museum shop installed WinRetail™ Enterprise and Tradewind in August 2001.
