Dahle Management Corporation owes its founding to Larry Dahle's first shoe store opened in 1957 in San Francisco, California. Incorporated in 1963 as Larry Dahle Shoes, Inc. the company continued to grow and expanded into the big & tall clothing business. In 1984 a second corporation was formed and began building stores in an off-price format. In 1990 the two corporations were consolidated and the name changed to Dahle Management Corporation.

The growth-minded Dahle Management Corporation operates 20+ Big and Tall Superstores throughout the Western United States, with stores in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
