WINRETAIL® 9.5 RELEASED

Carlsbad, CA – June, 2009 – JDS Solutions, premier provider of retail management software, today announced the release of WinRetail® 9.5.

One of the highly requested features included in Release 9.5 is the ability to scan “kits”. Users will be able to combine styles/items into packaged items, or kits. Scan one "kit" item, then WinRetail® will split the kit into the individual unit sales. Create kits with two or more items and price it the way you want or as a percentage of the sale. “Kitting is a great way to boost sales and move inventory during tough times,” said Dan Friedman, President of JDS Solutions.

Another new feature in Release 9.5 is Audit Report, which allows users to track all the activity for an item/style. For example, when it was received, transferred, purchased, sold, returned, etc.

Also available for purchase with the 9.5 Release, is WinShip®, an integrated shipping module fully functional with Fed Ex, UPS and USPS.
