Included in the base WinRetail system is a robust Open to Buy module. The OTB will generate both a discreet and cumulative buying "roadmap" for you. Create your plan in Units, Cost or Retail; setup your planned inventory levels and sales and automatically you'll see your planned purchases, current on order and a resulting Open to Buy!

For those in need of a more sophisticated planning process, you can select the optional Advance Planning module! Offering Top Down/Bottom Up functionality, planning can be accomplished at either the upper most level of your merchandising hierarchy (division) or at the lowest (sub-class) level and everywhere in between. You can also plan by Vendor, Season, Item or 5 user defined attributes. Regardless of the planning level you select, your plan is instantly recalculated to reflect your entries. With the ability to maintain an original and several working versions of your plan, your planning process remains in-tune with the changing climate of your business. Review last year's actual performance - compare against your Annual Plan and Working Plan. See the percentage variance between your plan and actual. Couple your financial plan with our Assortment Planner and you now can control the depth of your merchandising. The result is increased turnover and gross margin! AND with the added bonus of our separate Unit Plan module you can plan key items by week and then see last year's performance against this year!
