April, 2009 – El Camino Hospital Picks JDS

SAN DIEGO April 2009 – The JDS Solutions Corp announced that Mountain View CA based El Camino Hospital, has selected JDS to manage the informational needs of the hospital’s retail business. El Camino Hospital joins several other hospitals and Medical Centers in the expanding WinRetail® Healthcare group.

Consistently ranked as a leading hospital in the Silicon Valley area, El Camino Hospital recently received the highest ranking in the “Patients' Evaluation of Performance in California” survey. The hospital has received national recognition for several pioneering programs in the areas of cardiac treatment, radiation oncology, and maternity services.

WinRetail®, JDS’s enterprise management system, will manage the complete retail cycle for the hospital. The fully integrated Back Office and Point of Sale system is projected to increases the level of timely and actionable decision support information available to the hospital’s retail operations management.

The entire project will be under the direction of the JDS Solutions Professional Services group with a July implementation planned.
